Privacy Policy
Effective July 20, 2026 · Last updated July 20, 2026
This policy explains what personal information Consumer Resolution Group collects when you use this website, why we collect it, who we share it with, and what choices you have. We have tried to write it in plain language rather than legalese, because you should be able to understand what happens to your information without a lawyer.
Who we are
Consumer Resolution Group LLC ("we," "us," "our") is a consumer advocacy and intake company. We review the situations homeowners describe to us regarding their solar contracts, arrange for a licensed attorney to evaluate them, and manage the process from there.
This policy applies to consumerresolutiongroup.com and to information you give us by phone, email, or text. It does not apply to the practices of any attorney, law firm, lender, or other third party involved in your matter — those organizations have their own privacy policies, and you should read them.
What we collect
Information you give us
When you complete a form on this site or contact us, we collect:
| Category | Examples |
|---|---|
| Identifiers | First and last name, email address, telephone number |
| Location | The state where your home is located |
| Situation details | Which circumstance you selected, and anything you tell us about your solar agreement, installer, lender, or payments |
| Communications | The content of emails, texts, and calls with us, including call recordings where we tell you a call is recorded |
You choose what to share. You do not need to send us loan documents, account numbers, or financial account details to begin, and we ask that you do not send sensitive documents by unencrypted email.
Information collected automatically
- IP address, browser type, device type, and operating system
- Pages viewed, time on page, and how you moved through the site
- The page or advertisement that referred you
- Advertising identifiers passed in the link you clicked, including gclid, wbraid, gbraid, fbclid, msclkid, and UTM campaign parameters
- Date and time you submitted a form
We record the advertising identifiers so we can tell which campaigns bring homeowners to us. We also retain a record of the consent language you agreed to and when you agreed to it.
How we use it
- To review the situation you describe and determine whether it is something an attorney should look at
- To contact you about your inquiry by phone, text, or email
- To have a licensed attorney evaluate whether you have a case
- To keep records of consent, including proof of when and how you agreed to be contacted
- To measure and improve our advertising, our website, and our intake process
- To detect and prevent fraud, spam, and abuse
- To comply with law, respond to legal process, and protect our rights
We do not use your information to make automated decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects about you without human involvement.
Calls, texts and email
When you check the consent box on our form, you are agreeing that we and the attorneys we work with may contact you at the number and email you provided — including by automatic telephone dialing systems, prerecorded or artificial voice messages, and text messages — about the inquiry you submitted.
- Consent is not a condition of any service. You can reach us instead by calling (888) 239-2991.
- Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.
- Reply STOP to any text to stop texts. Reply HELP for help.
- To stop calls, tell the caller, or email review@consumerresolutiongroup.com.
- To stop marketing emails, use the unsubscribe link in any email.
We keep a record of your consent — the exact wording you agreed to, and the date and time — because we are required to be able to demonstrate it.
How long we keep it
We keep your information for as long as needed for the purposes described here, and afterward only as long as we have a legitimate business or legal reason. Records of telephone consent are kept for at least five years, because that is the window in which claims under telephone consumer protection law can generally be brought. You can ask us to delete your information at any time — see below.
Your rights and choices
Wherever you live, you can ask us to:
- Tell you what personal information we hold about you
- Correct information that is wrong
- Delete your information
- Stop contacting you by phone, text, email, or all three
- Stop sharing your information with attorneys
Email review@consumerresolutiongroup.com or call (888) 239-2991. We will respond within 45 days. We may need to verify your identity before acting, and we may keep certain records where the law requires it — consent records, for example.
We will not deny you service, charge you a different price, or give you a lower quality of service because you exercised any of these rights.
State privacy rights
Residents of California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Utah, Texas, Oregon, Montana, and other states with comprehensive privacy laws have additional rights, including the right to access, correct, delete, and obtain a portable copy of personal information, and the right to opt out of targeted advertising and of any "sale" or "sharing" of personal information.
Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information. We do not sell personal information. We do use advertising cookies and measurement tools, and under some state laws that activity can be considered "sharing" for targeted advertising. To opt out, email review@consumerresolutiongroup.com with the subject line "Do Not Sell or Share," or call (888) 239-2991.
You may designate an authorized agent to make a request for you. If we deny your request, you may appeal by replying to our response; if we deny the appeal, you may contact your state attorney general.
We do not knowingly process sensitive personal information beyond what you volunteer about your own situation, and we do not use it for targeted advertising.
Security
We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect your information, including encryption in transit. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. Please do not email us documents containing account numbers or Social Security numbers.
Children
This site is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has given us information, email us and we will delete it.
Changes
We may update this policy. When we do, we will change the "last updated" date above. If the changes are significant, we will provide a more prominent notice. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated policy.
